The Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies at the University of Ottawa is inviting applications for its Bank of Montreal Visiting Scholarships in Women‘s Studies for 2017-2018. Canadian and non-Canadian scholars are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
The purpose of this fund is to attract highly qualified researchers working on feminist, women’s or gender issues.
The Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies is associated with the Faculty of Social Sciences and its mandate is to promote the development of feminist education and research in both a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary setting.
The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for three (3) to six (6) months visiting program at University of Ottawa.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the area of women’s studies.
Scholarship Award: The recipient will receive a maximum of $4,000, which may be used to supplement research and/or travel expenses. Scholars with alternative funding will be considered.

Eligibility: The Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies invites applications from Canadian and non-Canadian scholars, both tenured and untenured faculty, and from post-doctoral or independent scholars who are pursuing critical feminist research. Individuals must have a Ph.D. to be considered for this position.
Nationality: Canadian and non-Canadian scholars are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

English Language Requirement: The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.
