Are you conducting research in the field of biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals or computational life sciences? Are you in search of a scholarship? Then apply for an Otto Bayer Scholarship from the Bayer Science & Education Foundation! Applications are welcome from students and young professionals of all nationalities who wish to study, research or do a research internship in Germany. In addition, the scholarship is aimed at students and young professionals from Germany who would like to go abroad for a research project or to obtain practical professional experience.
Who can apply?
Requirements for applicants include the following:
- innovative and international project
- high level of personal commitment and dedication
- maximum of two years of professional experience
What form does funding take?
Scholarship holders receive individual financial support. The scholarship can be used for example for specialist courses, summer schools, career programmes for young researchers, internships or for a master’s/PhD thesis.
The Bayer Foundation offers other scholarships to support young talents in other disciplines: students and young professionals in the fields of human and veterinary medicine, medical science, medical engineering, public health and health economics can apply for the Carl Duisberg Scholarship, while the Jeff Schell Scholarship is open to students and young professionals in the fields of agro sciences, agronomy, digital farming, crop sciences, green biotechnology, environmental sciences and sustainability.
