Deals are looking for a Senior Consultant to join the Valuation & Modelling team based in Baku.
About the role
Our Deals practice delivers unparalleled valuation expertise, working for the private and public sectors in Azerbaijan and international markets.
You will enjoy potential for fast personal development in a dynamic team by playing an important role within the Valuations practice. From the outset you will be exposed to a diverse range of challenging valuation work across industry sectors including company share valuations, fixed asset valuations and valuations of intangible assets, such as brands and contracts. Access and interaction with senior colleagues and senior client individuals will also provide plenty of opportunity to build business development and marketing skills.
Carry out financial modelling assignments as part of the valuation process
Prepare detailed financial analysis of market comparable companies across a wide variety of industry sectors
Prepare substantial written sections of final valuation reports which support the valuation conclusion. Examples include industry and market analysis, comparable company analyses, and subject company historical track record analysis
Work with colleagues in Tax, Assurance and Deals teams to deliver valuations alongside other services provided by PwC
Build a network around their peer group internally to PwC and externally
We are looking for an individual who has an excellent track record, is about to qualify (or recently qualified) in ACCA or CFA or equivalent, with previous commercial, client-facing work experience and is able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:
Not less than 3 years of financial modelling experience
Higher education (Western universities preferable)
Proficient in Excel and Power Point
Fluent in Azeri, English and Russian (any other languages will be a plus)
Strong analytical skills but tempered with an ability to think laterally
Ability to deliver high quality written work
Strong attention to detail combined with an ability to see the big picture
Ability to work effectively in teams on occasion to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with others
Ability to quickly grasp key business drivers and specific valuation issues
